Upper Canada Fishing
Experience some of the best Salmon and Trout fishing in the world with Upper Canada Fishing! There’s no better place than Lake Ontario to test your lines and angling expertise, and Captain Mathew Knowlton is here to show you the way.
All you have to do is decide how much time you want to spend on the water, and leave everything else to your captain. He’s got ample experience on the waters of the Greater Toronto Area and he will know just what to do to get you on the fish within the first 30 minutes of your trip.
After that, it is up to you to cast your line and wait for the fish to bite, and chances are, you won’t be waiting for too long. You’ll be chasing various types of Salmon (Atlantic, Coho, Chinook), and we can’t forget about Steelhead. You can choose a 4-hour trip or even a 12-hour exciting angling venture, and you will not just reel in some major leaguers, you’ll have a blast doing it.
Capt. Mathew’s 26’ Chris Craft was built for fishing, with twin 150 HP Mercruiser engines and a large back deck with plenty of room to net the big ones. She is spacious enough to take up to 6 persons aboard, so feel free to bring your whole family on a fishing trip to remember.
Your little ones will have the most fun on shorter trips, though if they’re younger than 8 years, they probably won’t be able to hold the gear. They can still join in on the fishing fun. You will find suitable life vests for kids on board.
Capt. Mathew provides all the fishing equipment, including Okuma reels and Shimano rods with a variety of tackle. Catch cleaning and filleting is included in the price, you only need to find the perfect recipe to cook your catch. You’ll have a first mate with you at all times, so feel free to tip him if you’re happy with the service.
You’re in charge of bringing refreshments and snacks, as well as sunscreen and a fishing frame of mind.
Join Upper Canada Fishing charters and have rods at the ready for your next legendary catch!
