It all starts with a boat, and an awesome boat at that. Your transport and a trusty companion is a Jones Brothers center console, sporting a 150 HP Yamaha engine. She’s got plenty of room for up to 3 anglers to cast their lines at the same time, but when it comes to flyrodders, the optimal number for the best fishing experience is two.
What can you expect on trips with Capt. Paul? You get 6 hours on the water filled with excitement and action, and you can bet there won’t be time for twiddling your thumbs. Your captain is a Striped Bass specialist, and he’s also a great connoisseur of Bluefish and Weakfish.
You can take a pick from a variety of specialized trips, and target anything from Stripers, Little Tunny, Fluke, Bonito, Scup, and so much more. It’s up to you to choose your prize of the day, and the captain will set up everything else.
You can also test your hand in spearfishing if that’s something that particularly appeals to you. If you prefer fly fishing, these waters have a lot to offer you, and Capt. Paul can provide the fishing gear, in case you can’t bring your own. Actually, rods, reels, and tackle are all provided, you just need to show up and reel in some awesome fish.
If you want to share your fishing passion with the kids, you’re welcome to do so, but please make sure they’re 12 years or older. You will also find refreshments and snacks on board.
