Bountiful Florida waters have so much to offer when it comes to inshore and offshore fishing and Just Add Water Charters specializes in both! Operating out of Niceville, Captain Wayne Alexander has been fishing in this area since 1973 and he can’t wait to share his experience with other passionate anglers.
He invites you to join him aboard his 23’ Hydro Cat center console that can take you and three of your best fishing buddies or family members fishing simultaneously. “Just Add Water” is perfect for both inshore and offshore fishing and comes with a 200 HP Suzuki engine, freshwater shower, a live bait tank, and an ice-box. There’s no minimum age, so bringing your little ones is a must.
Your adventure will start with fishing for bait just outside the Destin pass before moving to the most productive inshore and offshore fisheries. The inshore trips will take you fishing for Redfish in the flats, Bull Reds near bridges and jetties, Mangrove Snapper and Speckled Trout near docks and bayous.
When it comes to offshore game, you’ll be focusing on Grouper, Amberjack, and a diversity of Snapper at wrecks and reefs, as well as Mahi, Tuna, King and Spanish Mackerel. You’ll mostly be trolling for Mahi and Tuna and bottom fishing for Red Snapper, Triggerfish, Lane Snapper, Mangrove Snapper, and Grouper.
Snorkeling is also an option on these trips, just let the captain know so he could ready the gear for you. Top-notch Shimano and Penn fishing gear will be covered by the charter as well, including both light and heavy tackle, spinning and conventional bottom fishing reels.
The captain will supply you with sun lotion, towels, bottled water, and snacks. He is also a trained chef and can advise you on how to prepare your fish, or it can be prepared at L J Schooners Restaurant at the marina for only 9.95$ (subject to change).
