If you are looking to fish in Florida, there is only one way to do so – with a local, who has decades of experience, and can show you an awesome time. Book a trip with Captain Zach Stells for an unforgettable day now and see why this is the best way to fish.
You will spend the day on board his 29’ SeaVee center console. For maximum comfort on board this beautifully–maintained vessel, 4 anglers can come aboard and fish at the same time. This vessel has twin 250 HP engines, which, paired with Capt. Zach’s experience and the boats full navigational equipment, will see you on top of the fish before you know it.
You will head out a maximum of 25 miles, which will see you fish depths from 200’ to 1,200’. There is a huge variety of species in this area, and, depending on which trip you choose, you can expect to hook Mahi Mahi, Sailfish, Tuna, Wahoo, Mutton Snapper, Grouper, Yellowtail Snapper, Mangrove Snapper, and many more.
Fly fishing gear is also included. Two anglers are able to fly fish at once, as you’ll need the extra elbow space. Let the captain know if you want to use this on the trip beforehand, or if you are bringing your own lucky rod.
Depending on the season, you may catch live bait on the trip. However, sometimes the captain will have live bait traps set up already. Either way, you’ll either have more time fishing or have a new experience! Win win!
On the day the gear you use won’t let you down – you’ll use Penn and Fin-nor rods and reels so staying on the fish is as easy as reeling them in. With 36 rod holders on board, there is plenty of room if you want to bring your own gear as well.
Whether it’s drifting live bait for Grouper and Snapper or trolling and live baiting Mahi Mahi, Capt. Zach can put you on the fish. Book in confidence knowing your guide is a local seasoned fisherman with the experience to ensure a great day for you and your crew!
