Join Kokomo Fishing Charters and explore the bountiful waters around Panama City! Your guide is Enrique Untiedt, a local with a strong passion for fishing and talent to take you where the fish bite. He’s a spearfishing specialist that caters to all fishing levels, from complete novices to seasoned spearfishers.
Capt. Enrique will meet you on his 27’ center console, well equipped to accommodate up to 4 anglers. The boat is outfitted with a 180 HP Yanmar engine and sports top-notch navigational electronics and a trustworthy fishfinder.
On the menu are the favorite local species that include a variety of Groupers that can be real monsters, and getting them into the boat is both challenging and fun. Barracuda, Mackerel, and Cubera Snapper are a frequent catch, along with Golden Trevally and White Seabass. You can even catch Lobster if the conditions align.
You’ll have a big icebox to keep your catch fresh and the captain will provide the spearfishing equipment. You need to be at least 14 years old to use spearfishing equipment and make sure to request it in advance. Offshore and reef fishing are the name of the game in these parts, and if you’ve never given spearfishing a chance, this is a great opportunity to try something new.
The only thing you need to worry about when you book a trip with Kokomo is drinks, food, and sunscreen. Capt. Enrique will supply everything else, from expert advice to fishing licenses. Let your big Panama fishing adventure begin!
