Captain Ruben Garcia of Reel Off Charters invites you to spend a memorable day with him fishing bountiful Texas waters. He has been fishing the Laguna Madre, stretching from South Padre Island, across Arroyo City to Port Mansfield, since he was five years old. As well as this, he has been guiding for over 25 years.
His boat is a 26.5 ft.Shallow Master Pro bay boat that runs smooth and dry with a 300HP TRP engine. The vessel is 8’ wide providing up to 6 customers with a lot of space for casting. It comes equipped with a fish finder, safety gear, live bait tank, and an ice-box.
Captain Ruben specializes in live bait fishing using mullet, croaker, and shrimp. He also uses lures. He’ll take you exploring rich inshore, nearshore, and flats areas in pursuit of a variety of species. Depending on the bite, your main targets will be Trout, Redfish, Black Drum, Flounder, Snook, Mangrove Snapper, Whiting, Shark, and many others.
Everything you’ll need for a productive day on the water is provided by the charter, including all bait, tackle, and fish cleaning and bagging. The only thing you need is your drinks – the captain will provide an ice chest and ice for you. A fishing license is required for the day so make sure to buy it before the trip.
