Need to escape the hustle and bustle of city life? Need to find yourself, or get back to your roots? Or just have a sense of adventure that can’t be quenched in an afternoon? Then you need to come fish with local guide Shota Inasaridze with Wild Fishing in Georgia in Svaneti. He offers a 3-day trip, so you can get your fill of fishing during the day, and then camp to the view of breathtaking mountains at night.
You’ll spend your days on the shore catching Georgian Salmon, Brown Trout, and Rainbow Trout. Surrounded by peaks of up to 5000 M high, there is no better place to fish for these beauties. Brown Trout is catch and release only, but other species can be kept and will be filleted by Shato after the trip.
For those with the skills, you can try fly fishing and spend the day spinning too. This is the perfect way to fish, which takes precision and talent.
During the day, Shato will make sure you are well fed. You’ll try local delicacies, uha, and shashlik. For those that haven’t heard of these before, imagine fish soup and fantastic kebabs. You’ll be very satisfied after dinner.
At the end of a awesome day of fishing, you’ll head into your tent – this is included in the price, but you are welcome to bring your own if you wish. Please speak to Shato before the trip to finalize accommodation details.
Everything is included in this trip. From rods, reels, and bait, to food, drink, and accomodation. The only thing left for you to do is book, turn off your phone, and have a great fishing adventure that you won’t forget in a hurry!
