Do you daydream of rushing across the deck to the sound of a reel screaming? Captain Erick Chavarin will take you on a trip that looks just like that, only it’s real!
Join him for a fishing adventure in the bountiful waters of Bahia de Banderas, one of the world’s premier sportfishing destinations. The Bay has its reputation for good reason too, you’ll be on top of a variety of pelagic species after a short boat ride.
Your fishing adventure starts on board a 34’ Hatteras. She was launched in 1984 and got fully rejuvenated in 2010 – a combination of old-school quality and modern amenities. The boat has everything you need to dominate the blue waters of Mexico: two fighting chairs, a flybridge, outriggers and downriggers, and more than enough space for you and 5 others to fish all day long.
Capt. Erick will take you after a wide range of species, depending on your preference and skill level. You can target Bonito, Snappers, and Groupers, as well as the iconic Roosterfish, all inside the Bay of Banderas. If you’re chasing your next personal best you can hit the blue waters of Mexico for the large pelagic predators there. Sailfish, Blue Marlin, Yellowfin Tuna, Wahoo, and other species can all be targeted on longer trips.
All trips have bottled water, beer, chips, and ceviche included in the price. The captain will supply you with high-quality tackle made by Penn, Shimano, and Rapala but you’re free to bring your lucky rod with you.
Spice up your next visit to Puerto Vallarta with rod-bending action. Book a trip with Capt. Erick today and start making memories that’ll last you a lifetime!
