J.T. Crappie Guide Services

If you haven’t tried fishing the fresh waters of Arkansas, this is the perfect opportunity! If you have, you can take it to next level, all with J.T. Crappie Guide Services. Roger Cravens will guide you to the hottest honey-holes in the waters around Rogers!

Grab 4 fishing buddies and head out on a freshwater excursion on board Roger’s 18’ Duracraft. She’s a bay boat, well-suited to navigating the rivers and estuaries of the area. The wide-open deck and low sides allow you to easily chase the bite around the boat. There’s even a fighting chair on board so you can strap in once you get a strike and let the battle commence.

Roger will take you after a wide range of freshwater species in the locale. He can tailor the trip to suit your desire and skill level – contact him before arriving to work out what’s best for you. You can hit the brush piles for Largemouth and Smallmouth Bass. Vertical jigging and fishing with live bait is also an option. Alternate targets are Rainbow and Brown Trout, Crappie, and Walleye.

If you want to try something different you can also bow fish for Carp and Alligator Gar – only two anglers at a time though, unless you bring your own bow.

Kids are more than welcome on board but the guide asks you to bring the kid’s own vest if it’s more comfortable.

The charter will supply you with all the fishing tackle you’ll need for an adventurous day on the water. B’n’M poles, Bobby Garland Crappie baits, Pico Lures, Gene Larew lures, and more high-quality tackle is at your disposal. You’ll even fish above Mossback fish habitats.

Whether you want to get your family hooked on freshwater fishing or you’re chasing your next personal best, J.T. Crappie Guide Services has a trip for you. Book a trip today and enjoy the productive fishery of Northwest Arkansas!

"Military Veteran with over 12 years of guide experience. My passion is to get more families out fishing together!" Roger Cravens started his fishing career 13 years ago when he began assisting the founder of J.T. Crappie Guide Services. At that point, Roger fell in love with angling and has been guiding part-time for 10 years. 3 years ago Roger began guiding full-time and he isn't showing signs of stopping any time soon!
