Looking to explore the beautiful inshore waters of Port Saint Joe, Florida? Then come aboard Hooked On Fishing charters and let Captain Charles P. Wilson (you can call him Capt. Pete!) show you just what this fantastic fishery has to offer.
Capt. Pete was raised in nearby Apalachicola, FL, so these waters really are his home. He has over 40 years of angling experience, and 20 as a captain. He’s a native panhandle fisherman through and through! He prides himself on his family-friendly trips that introduce new and experienced anglers alike to top-class bay fishing. His charter is all about reeling in your dream species while having lots of fun. He’s just as good at making you laugh as he is at putting you on the fish!
Capt. Pete’s 22’ Suzuki Pontoon boat is perfect for cruising the inshore waters of the bay. She can accommodate up to 6 anglers, and you’ll all be able to fish at the same time. She’s equipped with all of the necessary safety and navigational equipment, including life jackets for little ones. Your comfort is a top priority—onboard you’ll find a roomy open deck and a couch for relaxing, as well as a full toilet.
As for the species you’ll be targeting? Get ready to reel in an impressive inshore haul! You can expect to come face-to-gills with White Trout, Redfish, Pompano, Flounder, and many more. Your captain will have you trolling, jigging, spinning, and even bottom-fishing for your dream catch. Whether you’re a new or experienced angler, Capt. Pete will help you find your perfect technique.
You’ll be provided with top-notch rods and reels on your trip, as well as a mixture of live, dead, and artificial bait, depending on what’s available. Want to do a spot of snorkeling as well? Just ask your captain—he’s happy to bring along the equipment for you. Your fishing license is included, too, so all that’s left is to come aboard Hooked On Fishing charters and enjoy a first-class Floridian angling adventure!
