Captain Lou Baggett offers you decades of fishing experience in Southwest Florida. Six generations of his family have fished some of the best backcountry waters of this area. A full-time U.S.C.G. licensed captain, he has been guiding anglers in his native SW Florida waters for over 40 years. Captain Lou provides more than a fishing charter, he provides a total fishing experience. Join him in Englewood and have a wonderful time fishing in Florida.
Whether you are looking for giant Tarpon fishing in Boca Grande and adjacent beaches or stalking Redfish, Snook, Trout, and other species in the backcountry, Captain Lou knows how to ensure your best catch. Being a native and having fished in the Boca Grande, Charlotte Harbor, Englewood (Lemon Bay), Placida, Venice, and Sarasota fishing grounds for so many years, he has the experience that most guides do not have.
Your trip will start on a 17’ Carolina Skiff center console. It can fit 2 anglers, runs on a 2022 70 HP Yamaha 4 stroke engine, and uses modern fishfinder and VHF radio technology. Also, the boat has got an ice-box and a livewell.
In order to attract the numerous species that inshore and backcountry waters have to offer, you will be using light tackle spinning. You are free to keep your catch and take it home if you want to. You can also bring your kids on the trip and enjoy a lovely family stay on the water.
Captain Lou will take care of all the fishing equipment, bait, and licenses. If you decide to keep your catch, he can clean and bag it for you at no extra charge. Before you come aboard, just make sure you have some food and drinks.
Pay a visit to Capt. Lou Baggett and enjoy a true fishing adventure in Florida!
