You’ve probably heard of the amazing Corpus Christi fishery, and with Gojoe 1 and Captain Joe Salas at the helm, you will get a chance to explore it. Your guide has been fishing in the area for over two decades and he’s ready to take out excited anglers to the best fishing grounds.
With a plethora of species that could find their way to your line and a friendly knowledgeable captain to lead the way, you’re in for a productive day on the water. Go after the inshore VIPs and come home with a mixed bag of catch. You will be targeting anything from Redfish, Speckled Trout, and Flounder to King Mackerel, Cobia, and Blacktip Shark.
You will be using quality rods, Penn reels, and lures will also be provided. At the end of your expedition, the captain will clean and fillet the catch for you, so that you don’t have to go through that hassle.
Whether you choose a half-day or a full-day trip, you will need a reliable boat to take you to that red-hot bite. Captain Joe’s 25’ Sundance center console is freshly restored in 2018 and outfitted with a 200 HP Suzuki engine which makes her stable and swift. There’s room for up to 6 people on board to cast their lines and test their luck, and the fishfinder will increase your odds of getting to the best fish quickly. Depending on what you want to catch, you will be traveling to the site anywhere from 5-30 minutes.
Trips with Gojoe 1 are suitable for novices and seasoned anglers alike, there’s more than enough thrill and fish for every level. Capt.
