Josh became a fisherman because he enjoys hearing the drag scream, and feel the power of Tarpon on the other end of his line. To Captain Josh, fishing is always a challenge.

Capt. Josh spent way too much time talking on his cell phone.  Then, while fishing on a reef, one of his friends comes by and the two of them are talking a fishing together while we watched!

He was more interested in fishing with his friends than interacting with his clients.

Captain Josh is extremely knowledgeable of all the fishing holes and spots. He is an ideal guide for 2 real fisherman who aren’t into all the conveniences a large boat offers. He knows when to move on and is not afraid to burn some gas when that’s what it takes. I have fished dozens of times with guides all over the world. Some try to make the experience fun when there are NO FISH by pretending to see fish that are not there. Capt. Josh Takes you to where the fish ARE. He tells you straight up about the tide being bad or the temperature not ideal for a certain type of fish. Then he tells you what CAN be caught at this time in this current condition. I would book again in a heart beat.
