The beautiful waters around Sanibel Island are waiting to be explored, so join Saltyhookfishing Charters for a day of fishing fun! Captain Torey Long has been fishing since he was a kid, and he knows all the best spots in the area. He’ll make sure your day is productive and he’ll have you reeling in some of Florida’s most prized species.
You’ll be fishing from a 23’ Skeeter bay boat that can accommodate up to 4 people, making it perfect for a trip with your family and friends. It’s powered by a mighty 250 HP Yamaha engine, whisking you to the fishing grounds quickly and reliably. There are navigational electronics on board, as well as a wireless trolling motor so you can sneak up on those fearful fish.
Sanibel Island is known for its rich wildlife, and fish aren’t an exception. These waters are home to a wide variety of fish species, each one more fun to target than the next. You can expect to come face-to-gills with Snook, Tarpon, Snapper, Redfish, Grouper, Spanish Mackerel, and Spotted Seatrout.
Capt. Torey will provide you with all the fishing equipment you might need – rods, reels, and tackle, as well as live bait and artificial lures. You’ll visit the inshore and nearshore fisheries, trying out a variety of techniques for the best chance of catching a record specimen. You’ll have the help of an experienced professional who’s broken some records as well!
Kids are welcome to join in on the fun, and Capt. Torey loves taking out families. Feel free to bring your children on a real adventure in Florida nature, and make some memories they’ll happily remember. You’ll be provided with drinks, so just pack some food and sunscreen, and you’re all set!
