Just a great trip. Did some trolling for big fish and then some reef fishing for dinner fish. Both successful! Great boat, crew, and gear. Highly recommend! Just a really nice family that runs a great business. Already booked to go back in June.  I highly recommend you get the LIVE bait.  Worth the money…trust me. They clean your fish. Take your catch to Captain Charlie’s Restaurant (5 minutes from ramp) and they will cook it any way you want.  We actually went twice. Place is awesome. The whole weekend was phenomenal. A fisherman’s dream from a great crew, boat charter, to dinner.

Booked this charter for my fiances birthday and I am so glad I did! We met them at the pier at Phil Foster Park and they made us feel comfortable emediately always offering beverages and making sure we were fine. They asked us prior what we were looking to accomplish and made sure we got that. My fiance wanted to fight with a fish and boy did we do a lot of that! Caught all kinds of beautiful fish. They try really hard to make sure they get you on too of fish. You couldn’t even blink fast enough and you had new baits on your line ready to go out. We had a great time, we will definitely repeat!

I was planning a trip to Florida back in February. I was looking up fishing trips and came across Papa Bear Fishing. I chose them based on the great reviews. I must say my choice was spot on! Rudy and Mike communicated with me the entire time all the way up to the day of my scheduled fishing adventure. These guys know what they are doing! I had not met them before this trip but fishing with them was like fishing with old friends right from the start. My nephew Jordan joined us on the trip. We were always into fish wherever we went. The day was awesome and the fishing buddies even better! We will be back and will not even consider going out fishing with anyone but Captain Rudy and Mike. Great time with my nephew and my new friends! Book them for your trip. You will be very happy you did!

Had a great trip with Captain Rudy and Mike. They worked hard to get us on fish. We caught a sailfish each of the first 2 days. The crew was able to make sure the sailfish survived each day. Great atmosphere on their family friendly charter. Brought my 13 year old son and Rudy and Mike made sure to help teach him how to fight the sailfish that he brought in by himself (no help from Dad). We caught a nice variety of fish each day from porgy to bonita to a few small mahi. Don’t hesitate to try these guys out. It’s a fun father and son duo who will work with you to try to go after whatever you want.

My family (ages 15 to 67) had a wonderful experience of deep sea fishing with Captain Rudy and Adam. We spent the day catching so many different types of fish and they took time to tell us about the unique features of some of them, it was awesome! We saw sharks, jellyfish, sea turtles, rays and more. They recommended we take some of our catch to Johnny Longboat’s, where they’d fix it for our supper how we wanted it cooked; I highly recommend; food was delicious. We even had enough fish to bring home in a carry on bag on ice. This was a wonderful experience that I would definitely do again!
