Fire Drill Charters will get your pulses racing as if you’ve heard the bell itself. Head out from Nokomis, leaving the Western Florida coast behind. Fish the reefs and wrecks, as well as some deeper water for some exciting and delicious fish. With Captain Mike Kail, you can’t go wrong. Having fished for over 50 years, he’s captained professionally since 2007 and brings invaluable experience and skills to the deck.
Set off aboard a 30’ Pro Boat center console, complete with brand new equipment. You’ll be offshore in minutes thanks to the twin Suzuki 300 HP engines reaching speeds of up to 30 knots. Having the wind in your hair may cool you down, but there’s also plenty of shade for you to protect from the tropical sun too. Make use of the cooler on board to keep hydrated, and there’s a porta potty on board if you get caught short.
If you’re going for the pelagic bite, the boat’s outriggers will get you trolling like a professional. Want to bottom fish? Head out towards the reefs and bottom fish for various kinds of Snapper and Grouper. These exciting fish will be tough to reel onto the boat, but the first mate will help you land one. You won’t go home empty-handed as the crew will clean and prepare your catch for you to take home at the end of the day.
Trips run all year-round, and with half and full-day trips, you can choose how much you want to do. Learn about the Gulf’s fantastic fisheries, or show off your angling skills and catch as many fish as possible. All rods and reels are provided, along with your fishing license, so what are you waiting for? The bell is ringing, so rush outside and hop aboard Fire Drill Charters today!
