We did an evening 1/2 day trip, and when we got to the water it was much too choppy to go past the breaker walls. But Danny promised that as soon as things calmed down we would get out there. We did a little bit of fishing inside the wall, and even had some action, but Danny held true to his word and as soon as things settled on the lake he got us on the fish.

From there, my boys just wore out their reeling muscles, and we had several meals worth of sweet, sweet walleye on board.

Danny and crew were friendly and efficient and took the time to teach us the how’s and what’s of how the gear worked, so my boys didn’t just catch fish, they actually learned a little bit about how they could do it on their own.

This was our first time taking a charter boat on lake Erie.  Captain Dan was very nice and prepared when we arrived.  He had all the equipment and bait/lures necessary for the day.  He gave us a quick lesson since we were fairly novice and got us set up quickly to troll for Walleye.  Within the first several minutes the line was jerking with a fish on it and my 17 year old daughter pulled in the first fish of the day.  It didn’t take long until the three of us reached our 18 fish limit of Walleye!!  It was pretty much non stop, we were catching good size walleye almost every 5 minutes!!
Captain Dan was really nice about helping us, but he also had the perfect combination of backing up and letting us do it ourselves.  We still had time left on our booking and it was a beautiful day so we opted to take a cruise around the science center area and enjoy the day. 
We had a great time and went home to enjoy a fresh Walleye dinner that night.

Family fishing trip. Danny and John took care of everything for us. They were easy to talk to, but let us have our own family conversation. On time to pick us up at the boat ramps. John spent the entire trip helping our 6 year old fish so that we could fish too. Caught lots of walleye and other fish.
What an experience.

Excellent trip with capt dan. The best capt in 30 years of going on charters on Lake Erie. He kept us catching fish during lulls by switching lures and depths.  We had a great time and the capt and crew was very engaged and helpful.  I would highly recommend midtown charters.

My brother and I had a great time fishing with Captain Daniel (Danny).  We landed somewhere around 15 fish and enjoyed the conversation in between.  We were able to cast, troll and jig fish.  Very enjoyable, I would highly recommend Midtown fishing Charter.
