Deep in the heart of Texas (City), Nautical Never Land Guide Service offers inshore and nearshore fishing in and around Galveston Bay. With a vast estuary leading from the flats, and reefs and islands protecting against the Gulf, this spot is home to exceptional fishing opportunities. Captain Mike Williams is particularly adept at fishing these waters and utilizes a range of techniques that you’ll get to pick up.
Aboard a 22’ Nautic Star center console, there’s plenty of room for up to 4 anglers to fish and maneuver at any given time, while an ice box for your drinks and snacks will be provided if you want a little breather. In the skinny waters, the wireless trolling motor will give you maximum discretion as you creep up to the spooky fish beneath.
Capt. Mike provides Penn rods and reels, along with a variety of live and dead bait and lures, and suggests you try trolling, spinning, jigging, or popping to catch your fish. With the assistance of a fishfinder, you’ll be in the best position possible to reel ‘em in. You’ll target the delicious Flounder, along with Black Drum, Redfish, Speckled Trout and Sharks, and anything you catch will be prepared for you to take home.
The son of a fisherman, Capt. Mike has inherited his father’s passion and hopes to share it with his customers, and so the whole family is welcome aboard. You’ll get to try a range of techniques, and take home a well-earned meal with you. With Nautical Never Land Guide Service, you’re in for a memorable experience.
