All types of anglers have the opportunity to fish the waters out of Palmetto successfully with Florida Fishing Charters. A fleet of great sportfishing vessels, they welcome you and your family to join in the adventure and catch some fish!

Captain Jim Teeter, the owner of the company, has over three decades of fishing experience. With him and Captain Jeffrey Roger P., you’ll be able to grow as an angler and master your cast, learn about the local ecosystem, and come back to shore with fish in the box.

Share your fishing tales and check the bite close to the coast as you hunt the rich inshore waterways. You can explore the nearshore water or head up to 9 miles out on longer trips (weather-permitting) to land bigger fish. Get your hands on anything from Spanish Mackerel, Cobia, and Amberjack to King Mackerel, Snapper, Grouper, Flounder, Sharks, and even Blackfin Tuna.

All of that will happen aboard a 36’ Al Dhaen center console. Powered by twin 250 HP Yamaha engines, this fast vessel comes complete with an autopilot, a radar, state of the art Furuno electronics, and other professional accessories. There is also a full toilet with a sink aboard, along with plenty of comfortable seating to keep you relaxed and refreshed all day long.

All rods, reels, tackle, bait, lures, licenses, water, and soft drinks will be waiting onboard, so all you have to do is pack your lunch and hop onboard. Fantastic Florida fishing awaits you – inshore, nearshore, and offshore – with Florida Fishing Charters. Come and make the most of it.

What an Adventure
3/4 Day Trip – Offshore on May 24, 20252 adults
My 15 year-old son loves fresh water bass fishing, one day I told him that I would show him where the big fish are. Captain Jim and First Mate Brian took us out on “The Motley Crew” and showed him grouper, red snapper, mangrove snapper, saltwater trout, grunts, spot-tails. After drowning buckets of bait, returning those pesky out of season bait thieves, and having a true “you should have seen the one that got away” moments, we wrestled caught 20 delicious fish from the briney deep that we kept for tacos (hands-down best THE Best ever…watching my son and his grand-mother making dinner together in the kitchen was priceless). Captain Jim and his mighty crew of one were patient and effective teachers for new gear and techniques we have never used in the great frozen North. I would recommend and use them again and again.

Top Notch
Half Day Trip – Inshore (AM) on March 30, 20255 adults1 child
If there is such thing as catching too many fish this crew is not for you. I took my 65 year old dad, two 38 year olds, two 14 year olds, and a 5 year old on this trip. I say this to show the wide age range and everyone had a GREAT time. Unfortunately the wind limited us on where we could go on this day but Captain Jim sure made the best of it for us. We hit a hot spot for Silver and Speckled Trout pulling in a fish almost every few casts. He then took us to another area where we pulled in all kinds of cool fun fish (Snapper, Jack Crevalle, Stingray, more trout, Catfish and much more). Everyone had a blast including my dad and my 5 year old boy loved it. Captain Jim was awesome and very easy to work with. Shout out to First Mate Brian though, he was a hustler, as fast as we were flipping fish into the boat he was unhooking, setting up pictures, and re-baiting the hook faster than I have ever seen on a charter. Can’t say enough about how good this crew was!

Good times
Half Day Offshore on September 27, 20253 adults
The weather was iffy. We had some rain and choppy water. Captain Jim did a great job of getting us on some fish. The highlight of the trip was when my son caught a hog fish. The boat was clean and the tackle was appropriate for the kind of fishing we were doing. My wife was quite pleased that this boat has a head in it (bathroom). Captain Jim was professional at all times and we very much enjoyed our day.

Great day on the water
3/4 Day Nearshore/Inshore on June 30, 20252 adults
Captain Jim was great! Super friendly, helpful and incredibly knowledgeable of the fishing grounds. We caught plenty of fish but the highlight had to be the speckled sea trout we caught in shore. We took home plenty of fish and released a bunch to. Memories were made and fun was had! Highly recommended!

Excellent day on the water
Half Day Nearshore/Inshore on August 6, 20254 adults
Captain Jim will be my go-to when I’m in town from now on. Jim and Ben put me and my boys on fish immediately and worked tirelessly to keep fresh bait on our lines and were super patient with a group of less experienced salt water fishermen. Highly recommend these guys!
