It’s time to have an adventure like no other with Salty Tails Guide Service. Captain Justin Cooper himself, owner and captain, will make sure you have a fun and productive day out on the water with him. You’ll have the chance to get up-close-and-personal with your catch, as you’ll mainly be wade-fishing for Redfish, Spotted Seatrout, and more!
Your trip begins on board your captain’s 24’ Haynie bay boat, fresh on the water in 2018. There is plenty of room for groups of 3 to fish on board, but your main focus will be wading in the water! This beautiful vessel has a 300 HP Mercury engine that will get you to the fishing grounds before you know it.
The fishfinder, paired with the captain’s extensive knowledge of the area and the wireless trolling motor on board, will give you that extra edge out on the water to stalk your prey. On board, there is also a livewell, so any live bait you use will be kept fresh and ready to go all day long.
On the menu for the day are Redfish, Flounder, and Spotted Seatrout. There is no minimum age or skill level required for these trips, so grab your friends or family and learn the tricks of the trade from Capt. Justin. He can’t wait to show you the best techniques to reel in these fish. After the trip he will happily fillet your haul for you – that leaves you with the hard decision of how to cook your freshly caught dinner.
Included in the price are all the rods and reels. You’ll be using top quality rods for H&H and reels from Lews. These won’t let you down when reeling in your catch. All lures are also provided. You can buy the live bait from the captain directly before the trip begins. Please make sure to purchase a fishing license before the day.
Keep your energy up throughout the day by bringing a small cooler of refreshments on board. It’s a good idea to bring along sunscreen and polarized sunglasses too.
