Capt. Rick has had his charter operator’s license for over 40 years, so he definitely knows a thing or two about running successful trips. Anglers of all ages and abilities are welcome to join him on a personalized angling adventure, especially families with little ones – he loves showing them the ropes, and helping them reel in their first ever fish. Depending on the trip you choose, your captain will take you to a variety of Pensacola’s hottest inshore and nearshore spots to hook your catch.
You’ll embark on your trip on board your captain’s 24’ Kenner bay boat, which is perfectly built to tackle the flats, mangroves, and shallow waters that this fishery is famous for. She can accommodate up to 5 guests, and allows for plenty of comfort and space! She’s equipped with top-quality navigational gear, an ice box to store your catch, and a wireless trolling motor so that you can sneak up on your dream catch.
You’ll have the chance to hook a variety of world-famous species, and your captain will be on hand to show you the best techniques to use. Depending on where you travel, you’ll be trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, and more for Red Snapper, huge Redfish, King and Spanish Mackered, a variety of Shark species, and whatever else is biting. Capt. Rick will provide light tackle, which is suitable for all ages to use. Want to give yourself more of a challenge? Heavy tackle is available, too.
