I became a charter Captain because I want to share with people the beauty of the Carolinas and show them our awesome fishery. I am not a Captain that will sit in one spot and not move all day. I believe in going after them and if they move off one piece of structure then I'm moving to where they are. My clients pay to catch fish and that's just what we are going to do!

On Thursday, 10/12/17, we want out fishing for King mackerals about 15 miles out from Murrell’s Inlet.  We left the dock as 12:30 pm, had poles in the water at 1:00 pm, and caught our limit of Kings (nine total for 3 of us) by 3:15.  Had a great day fishing with Captain Maples, and am looking forward to our next trip with him.

We spent 5 hrs fishing with Captain Jeff and had a GREAT time. The wind was blowing hard today that limited our ability to fish in some areas, but he put the boat in areas that protected all of us from the rough waters and enabled us to fish. We only caught one keeper, but several shorts. All in all had a great time and will definitely be returning to fish with Captain Jeff.
