Captain Sean Goddard owns and operates Inshore 2 Offshore Fishing Adventures. He has been fishing the Florida’s West Coast for over 40 years and has devoted years to learning about the Tampa Bay waters, as well as the feeding routines and migratory habits of the local game fish. He specializes in various fishing techniques, primarily inshore and nearshore fishing in the productive waters of the Tampa Bay and the Gulf.

Captain Goddard is fluent in fishing tactics using both live and artificial bait in conjunction with light tackle. Among the species Sean regularly targets on his trips are Snook, Redfish, Tarpon, Flounder, Sea Trout, Mackerel, Snapper, Grouper and more.

Captain Sean is always happy to take the time and share his expertise with beginners that want to learn how to fish properly. As for the seasoned anglers, he enjoys putting them right on fish and chatting about the advanced tips and tricks they can use to catch fish in these waters. That way, Captain Sean wants to make sure that anyone opting for a guided trip with him for the day not only has a successful trip, but also leaves more knowledgeable about fishing the Florida’s West Coast.

Tampa Bay fishing charter Captain Sean Goddard has lived near and has been fishing the West Coast Florida for over 40 years. He has devoted his time to learning the waters of Tampa Bay.  As a result he has become adept at the skills required to be successful captain.  He fishes the inshore and near shore waters of Tampa Bay and the Gulf . In addition to being an avid fisherman he is a  United States Coast Guard licensed Captain, he is fully insured and has all the licenses and permits to guide in the waters of Tampa Bay and the Gulf of Mexico.   Experienced in artificial baits, light tackle and live bait tactics he enjoys taking time to teach people that want to learn how to fish and loves to teach kids the art of inshore fishing.  He enjoys putting them on the fish so that that they have a successful day of fishing.  According to the Captain the best part of his job is seeing a kid smile when they feel the tug on the other end of the line.
