Picture this: you’re cruising the waters of a beautiful island, surrounded by crystal-clear fishing grounds, and you’re fishing for your own dinner, which will then be freshly cooked in front of you…and you haven’t even picked up a rod yet! On board Emir Adventure, located in stunning Isla Mujeres, you’ll have the chance to get back to nature and experience angling exactly as the locals do it – with a handline. Want to stick to more traditional techniques? They’re on offer, too!
You’ll be joined on your trip by an experienced captain, who’s a native of this beautiful island. He’s been fishing these waters since he was old enough to hold a rod. Now, he uses his years of experience and knowledge to provide guests with incredible, sun-drenched angling adventures. Whether you want to reel in tasty table fare, enjoy a fun family day out, or chase after huge Mahi Mahi and Marlin, your captain has something for everyone.
You’ll be traveling on board a 32’ Pursuit deck boat, newly-restored in 2016 and built to tackle a variety of waters. She’s a true fishing machine, and is decked out with GPS, fishfinder, and outriggers to cover plenty of ground when trolling your way to offshore waters. She’s also built for safety and comfort, too – on board, you’ll find an enclosed, private toilet, deck room for up to 6 guests to tangle lines, and life jackets in a variety of sizes.
You’ll have the chance to try out a traditional island technique, using only handlines, to catch delicious Red, Mangrove, and Yellowtail Snapper, Red Grouper, and more. If you’re looking for a local experience, this really can’t be beat! If you’re more of a rods-and-reels angler, you can troll and bottom fish for a variety of species, including hard-fighters such as Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Sailfish, and the mighty Marlin.
Your trip includes rods, reels, tackle, lures, and a fishing license, as well as local snacks and drinks. Come aboard Emir Adventure and get ready to discover how the locals reel ‘em in!
