Capt. Matt has been fishing for over 30 years, and decided to turn his passion for angling into a successful charter business. He loves being outdoors and introducing his guests to the Gulf’s diverse fishery – as well as helping them reel in their dream catch! He offers year-round angling trips and, depending on the season, you’ll have the chance to catch all sorts of species of fish, no matter your age or skill level.
You’ll be traveling on board a 32’ Cobia center console, built to tackle offshore waters and travel to the hotspots quickly and efficiently. She’s decked out with all the necessary safety and navigational gear, as well as a full toilet – no matter how far offshore you go, you’ll be traveling in plenty of comfort! Capt. Matt warmly welcomes children aboard, and asks that you bring your own life jackets for them.
You’ll have the chance to try out deep sea fishing on the Gulf of Mexico, where you’ll come face-to-gills with huge Grouper and Snapper. Species include Yellowtail Snapper, Lane Snapper, Mangrove Snapper, Gag Grouper, Red Grouper, and more – the further offshore you go, the bigger they get! You’ll also be able to target other Floridian favorites, such as Kingfish, Cobia, Amberjack, Mahi Mahi, Barracuda, and giant Redfish.
