A tournament winner and frequent guest on local fishing shows, he specializes in offering a wide variety of first-class trips, particularly for families and groups of budding fishermen. No previous angling experience? No worries! Capt. Wayne will show you the ropes.
You’ll be fishing from your captain’s 23’ Hydrasport Baybolt 2300 bay boat – she’s wide-bodied, very stable, and specially designed to tackle the waters of Tampa Bay. She can accommodate up to 6 guests (4 anglers), and on board you’ll find dual bait wells, a shaded t-top, and the latest navigational and safety gear, including fishfinder, GPS, and life vests for little ones. Her luxurious cushioned seating and decks offer a comfortable and safe platform to enjoy your adventure from.
When it comes to the species on offer, it all depends on when you visit and how far you travel. You’ll have the chance to head up to 4 miles out to hook King Mackerel, Cobia, Gag Grouper, and huge Redfish, or you can stay by the marina to reel in Spotted Seatrout, Snook, and more. Want to battle that world-famous Floridian favorite, the “Silver King” (Tarpon)? Capt. Wayne will take you to the hottest spots, as well as sjowing you techniques to hook this hard-fighter.
