Enter the world of offshore sport aboard the “Thalassa.” Head out of Mauritius’ west coast and explore the luscious beaches, crystal clear lagoons, and their wealth of fishing opportunities. Leave the busy beaches and hustle of the streets behind and let the experienced Captain Elvis and his first mate show you the best of Indian Ocean fishing.
The Thalassa is a stunning 50’ D’Unienville offshore sportfishing boat. She has plenty of space on board for up to 10 guests, as you take advantage of the comfortable cabin or open deck to relax as you head out to shore. She comes fitted with a toilet, for your convenience, while the captain will provide water and soft drinks throughout. Just bring your own alcohol and snacks aboard and settle in for a fun-filled day.
It doesn’t stop there, though, as the boat is fully equipped for a productive day on the water. Take advantage of the downriggers and outriggers as you troll to catch the bite of your target fish. Leap into action as the reels screech and settle into one of the 3 fighting chairs to enter battle against some monster fish.
You won’t believe your arms until you see the fish for yourself. You will never have seen a fish this big before! Marlin are known all around the world for their game qualities, and you’ll have the chance to try first-hand reeling in this beast. The fun is never-ending, as you also go after stunning Sailfish, delicious Mahi Mahi and Tuna, and exciting Wahoo. Thankfully, this boat has everything to give you the edge over them.
You’ll even have the chance to swim among these beauties as you put on the snorkeling gear and join the underwater world. The stunning fish along the nearshore reefs and islands will dazzle, so get ready to take a mental picture, or bring a waterproof camera. At the end of the day, the crew will keep your catch – what better way to repay your hosts? You’re in for a memorable day aboard the Thalassa.
