Mariaboat Charters
Do you want to experience the ultimate local-style fishing adventure in beautiful La Morne, Mauritius? Come aboard Mariaboat Charters and join Captain Labonne Jeanluc for the chance to reel in a huge host of world-famous saltwater superstars, as well as taking in some stunning scenery and seeing how the locals live on this beautiful island!
Capt. Labonne is a native Mauritian who’s been fishing since he was old enough to hold a rod. If you love a little bit of local flair and history alongside your angling action, then he’s just the captain for you – he started working on his dad’s boat when he was young, and now uses that very same boat to run a variety of fishing trips! His specialty is big game, so if you want to battle huge Yellowfin Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Marlin, and more, then you’ll be in safe hands – no matter your age or skill level.
You’ll be fishing from your captain’s 25’ Nabridas deck boat, built to accommodate up to 4 guests, and transport you to the hotspots in safety and comfort. She’s decked out with top-notch navigational gear, life jackets, and snorkeling equipment for guests who want to explore these waters from a whole other angle. For hardcore fishermen, there are outriggers to maximize your trolling potential, and a fighting chair – perfect for battling your dream Mahi Mahi or Sailfish!
Capt. Labonne offers his guests a huge variety of fishing options, so you’ll find a technique that fits you perfectly. You’ll have the chance to fish with light tackle for Barracuda, Skipjack, and small Yellowfin Tuna – this will provide plenty of hands-on action! Try heavier tackle, and get ready to reel in huge Yellowfin Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, mighty Marlin, and more. You can also test your bottom fishing skills against a variety of Grouper, Triggerfish, and local fish.
Your trip includes top-quality rods and reels, bait, and tackle. All you need to bring is some sunscreen, and get ready for a local-stye adventure with Mariaboat Charters!
