Fished 3/4 day. Weather was perfect and Carlos and crew worked incredibly hard to put us on fish. We didn’t land any of the big and well known trolling fish, however I can check red snapper, amberjack and barracuda off of my species list, and was able to bring a meal back to our hotel to eat. There is only so much that can be done on a slow day but the amount of work that was put in with different techniques and approaches was appreciated. I fish back home well over 50x/year and these guys worked hard for my entire time on the water. They approached my trip much like how I would have approached my own. I would not hesitate booking La Chaluda again for future trips in Mexico which I feel like is the highest compliment that can be paid.

Carlos and Juan were fantastic.
They did everything they know how to make sure we were in and catching fish.
Got some red snapper and lost a big grouper.
Trolling was slow due to a storm that came in.
Over all it was a fun day in the water.
I would definitely book again.

We were four and we had a very good time! Our two guides were very nice and really did their best for us to catch rushes. We ended up fishing 6 triggerfishes. They prepared fillets of perfectly cleaned white meat…it was the first time we had the chance to taste that kind of fish and it was the best we ever ate! Thank you very much for the great experience and we will surely book again next year!
