Felipe Valdez Sportfishing LV
Complete your trip to La Ventana by exploring the exotic underworld. Felipe Valdez Sportfishing offers unbeatable fishing and snorkeling opportunities in the Gulf of California’s extraordinarily warm waters. Captain Felipe Valdez runs the charter company with his father, and has been fishing since he was a little kid. With impeccable English, his customer service skills are only matched by his fishing experience. You’re in for an unforgettable experience aboard!
Head up to 10 miles offshore, perusing the coastal line, on a 23’ Everglades center console. This vessel was designed to get fish on the boat. You’ll have 360-degree vision to keep an eye on your target, and plenty of room to steady yourself and move around as you battle it out against a tough big fish. You’ll chase the fish to the sweet spots thanks to the 225 HP Yamaha engine and the onboard GPS, fishfinder, and VHF radio.
Stay near the shore and target the beautiful and monstrous Roosterfish, hit the reefs for stunning Snappers and Wahoo, or head offshore for the big game beasts. These waters have it all in touching distance. Try out a range of techniques, from deep sea fishing, to drift fishing, popping, and even kite fishing. But mostly, you’ll be trolling behind you to entice the bite. When you hear the reels go, get ready for an almighty struggle to get ‘em aboard.
At the end of the day, Capt. Felipe will clean and prepare your fish for you to just pop in to a local beachside restaurant and eat your catch. That is, if you can stomach any more after your feast on board. Just sit back and enjoy the sun! If you’d like to cool off, snorkeling equipment is provided and you’ll get to swim with the exotic fish surrounding you. Experience the Gulf of California like you never imagined with Felipe Valdez Sportfishing.
