Captain Maxi Valdez is a lifelong native fisherman, born and raised in Amberis Caye. He decided to turn his passion for angling into a charter business in 2009. He specializes in running first-class fishing trips completely suited to your wishes – whether that means spending a full day fishing for Tarpon, Snook, and Permit, heading offshore to battle big game such as Mahi Mahi and Sailfish, or mixing up your angling action with a spot of snorkeling or a tasty BBQ!
You’ll be heading out on your personalized adventure on board a 24’ center console, custom-built to explore these crystal-clear waters! She can accommodate up to 6 guests, so you’ll be able to bring the whole family along, or round up your best angling buddies for the fishing competition you’ve always dreamed of. Your captain will make sure she’s fully-stocked with plenty of refreshments, including beer, soda, chips, and pineapple.
Your adventure is customizable, so you’ll get to decide what your trip looks like. Want to head offshore? You’ll use a variety of techniques to battle Mahi Mahi, Sailfish, and more, and will be provided with spinning rods and reels. Take part in some snorkeling action or a BBQ, and head up to a mile offshore to reel in Skipjack Tuna. Want to try something completely different? You can even spearfish on request!
