Island Hooker Charters
Come experience incredible Trinidad and Tobago fishing with breathtaking mountain views in the background – book a trip with Island Hooker Charters. Operating out of Port of Spain, the country’s capital, they offer professionally guided fishing adventures to anglers of all ages and skill levels.
Captain Liam Guillen invites you to spend the day aboard his 34’ Cyclone center console that can carry up to 6 anglers fishing at the same time. This fishing machine comes powered by twin 150 HP Honda engines and features top-notch safety gear and marine electronics. It boasts outriggers, downriggers, tuna tubes, a fighting chair, a live bait tank, and coolers filled with ice. It’s also wheelchair accessible.
You can expect action-packed trips and your lines to be wet just 5 minutes after setting off. Your potential catch list will include Marlin, Sailfish, Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Tarpon, and much more. Fishing in the area is great year-round, but the prime season for Tarpon is from April to September.
The captain will take you up to 15 miles offshore but the actual distance will depend on your chosen species. You could be catching the “Silver King” just 5 minutes after leaving the dock, while Wahoo can be caught 1–7 miles out. If you bring your own gear, fly fishing is also an option (3 anglers max).
You’ll be provided with state-of-the-art tackle by Shimano and Okuma, lures, and live bait (when needed). Spearfishing and snorkeling gear is available if you let the captain know in advance. Cleaning and filleting after the trip are also included in the price.
Just pack some food and drinks and set out for an adventure on the sea. Island Hooker Charters are looking forward to having you on board and showing you some of the best fishing in the area!
