Capt. Dan has been in this business since he was just 15 years old, so it’s safe to say that he’s got a huge wealth of angling experience under his belt. He started off in New Jersey, but a love for the ocean brought him to Key West, where he earned his US Coast Guard Master Captain License. Now, he uses his years of knowledge to provide trips that perfectly suited for a variety of guests – from the individual fisherman, to families with little ones, and groups of angling buddies looking to settle some scores!
You’ll be fishing from a 25’ Shearwater bay boat, built to cruise a variety of waters, including Key West’s beautiful backcountry, inshore fishing grounds, and up to 20 miles offshore around Marquesas Island. She can accommodate up to 4 guests, and is decked out with top-quality navigational gear, life jackets for all ages, and an ice box to store your favorite snacks and drinks.
The waters of Key West offer an unparalleled fishing experience, with top-notch species and fishing grounds – and Capt. Dan knows just where the hottest spots around are! Depending on your trip, you’ll cruise the backcountry, explore nearshore waters, or travel all the way out to the coral atolls around Marquesas Island. Get ready to hook Tarpon, Permit, Barracuda, Shark species, and plenty more, using light tackle. Rods, reels, tackle, and your license are included.
