This was the best fishing trip we’ve ever been on. We caught upwards of 25+ fish of multiple varieties.  Blackfin tuna which fight like crazy and were really fun to reel in, yellowfin tuna which were also fun to catch and even better to eat, and a giant sailfish!! We could not have asked for anything more. The crew worked tirelessly to keep us reeling in fish, catch whatever was biting and have a great time doing it. We got to have the freshest tuna sashimi we’ve ever tasted. The boat was perfect for our family - our son got seasick so was able to stay inside with the A/C when not reeling in a fish and there was plenty of space for the rest of us outside. We saw so many dolphins of different varieties plus two turtles. We can’t wait to come back (hopefully) next year and fish with the expert crew at Nauti Ventures again!! If you are fortunate to fish enough, you know what a bad day fishing looks like, and even sometimes what a good day looks like, today with the crew of Nauti Ventures, It was a great day

First things first. The boat was as advertised, salon air conditioned, clean, and all the gear and bait was top notch.

Captain Eric, and deckhands, Aaron and Sala made this trip. This entire crew worked incredibly hard. There was not a minute wasted on the water for anything other than catching fish.

The boat was already idling when we got to the slip, and we pulled out immediately. We were on the fishing grounds within an hour and a half and caught our first sailfish by 9:30.

A good day sailfish is usually one to three fish for the boat, we were able to catch 11!!

By the time lunch was served, the 5 of us had all caught at one. That didn’t mean the crew held back and started to slow down. They worked just as hard for the first fish as they did the last. And it appeared we were one of the last boats to return for the day.

Can’t say enough about this outfit, their professionalism, and just the sheer want to catch fish for their clients.

If you were on the fence about booking this boat, do not worry. No one can guarantee fish counts, but I can guarantee you this crew and boat will day work all day long to catch you fish!

Pura Vida!

We booked the trip so my partner’s parents would live the experience of their life. They went fishing in Canada for the past 60+ years and we wanted them to experience fishing here in Costa Rica.

Not only were they excited and impressed with the boat, they also loved every member of the team. My father-in-law caught so many Mahi mahi he couldn’t believe it and kept saying it was the best gift he received in his life !

The crew was just AMAZING ! Accomodating, helpful and clearly knew what they were doing ! They got us 13 mahi mahi!

Plenty of fish and chips, ceviches and steaks to finish our vacation here ! 😊

We had a family boys trip out with captain Erik and crew.. from start to finish exceptional is an understatement for this incredibly smooth running successful fishing adventure! We fished all day with plenty of action and the hospitality of the crew and captain blew away alol expectations. Would highly recommend naughti ventures to anyone looking to cross of bucket list fish backed with the best crew around. We fished, we ate great food, we concurred. Great day on the water! Our family went out for a full day trip. From the get-go, Captain Eric and the crew were top notch, Professional, and well prepared when we got to the marina. As soon as we got to our first area to fish, we were catching mahi one after another. We also picked up a few black tuna to keep the action going. After we decided that we didn’t want to keep any more mahi we set out trolling and picked up two great sailfish in the afternoon. By far the best family offshore charter we have done in the US, Mexico or Central America.
