If you’re looking for an authentic angling adventure that’ll see you exploring the stunning, crystal-clear waters of Puerto Aventuras through the eyes of a local, then come aboard Kay Kib Charters! This locally owned and operated charter has owner Miguel Ancona and an experienced crew, and they can’t wait to introduce you to the huge host of world-famous species that call these fishing grounds home.
You’ll be joined by friendly local captains and crew, who have over 12 years of angling experience between them. Together, your captain and crew use the wealth of knowledge they’ve gained to provide first-class angling adventures that’ll see you trying out a variety of fishing techniques, and hooking some brag-worthy fish, too!
You’ll be traveling on board a 38’ Dowson vessel named the ‘Bertram’, built to transport up to 12 guests out to the hottest fishing grounds. Your captain warmly welcomes anglers of all ages and abilities on board – feel free to bring the whole family, or settle some scores with your angling buddies! She’s decked out with top-notch navigational gear, life jackets for all ages, and a full, electronic toilet. You’ll also find outriggers to maximize your trolling potential!
The waters of Puerto Aventuras offer up some incredible fishing opportunities just minutes from the marina, so get ready to spend plenty of time on fish! Depending on the trip you opt for, you’ll head to the local reefs for the chance to hook Barracuda, Grouper, and Snapper, and will travel even further offshore for the chance to battle big game such as Mahi Mahi, mighty Blue and White Marlin, Sailfish, Wahoo, and plenty more. Your captain will show you how to deep sea fish and bottom fish, too!
Your trip includes rods, reels, bait, tackle, and a fishing license. Join your crew and get ready to experience “The Reel Thing”! An additional tax fee of $15 per person will be charged upon boarding.
