From May through September, Big Daddy’s Guide Service invites you to join in the non-stop action in Northern California’s stunning Plumas national forest. Head to Bucks Lake and enter an enchanted world of mesmerizing nature and incredible fishing. You won’t know where to feast your eyes as you suffer an attack on the senses, marveling in the beauty around you and the thrilling fishing on offer.
Captain Bryan Roccucci will be your guide. With over 30 years of experience fishing the lakes of Northern California, he’s just the guy to take you out on Bucks Lake. A passionate angler, he hopes to share his enthusiasm with you, and is always keen to teach the next generation about the beauty, skill, and thrill of fishing.
Step aboard the 23’ Boulton Powerboat aluminum fishing boat and let the magic begin. Light and agile, she can navigate these shallow waters with ease – and with the help of the wireless trolling motor. Up to 6 guests are welcome aboard to enjoy the surroundings as you seek out the sweet spots.
Sit back and enjoy, or take a more hands-on approach as you troll. Capt. Bryan will set up the outriggers and downriggers for you to troll, as you target trophy-sized Kokanee, Machinaw, and Rainbow and Brook Trout. These prized creatures are exciting to fight and delicious to taste, so enjoy the best of both worlds as you spend 7 hours traversing these pristine waters.
Everything you need for a productive day on the water awaits you on board and Capt. Bryan will even clean and fillet your catch at the end of the trip. Head home with enough fish to fill the freezer after a productive day out!
All you need to do is grab your CA freshwater fishing license and come aboard Big Daddy’s Guide Service ready to catch some fish. You won’t believe your eyes in the untouched nature of Bucks Lake.
