Having read other reviews, I knew I was going to have a great time, but Mario and the Mahi team really know how to make you feel welcome and confident no matter what your experience level is. Caught two delicious Skip-Jack tuna and a Dorado (the one fish I really wanted)!

I took the morning booking, and got to see stingrays, humpback whales, the Arch, and stunning sunrise views. It was like getting a whole extra tour, while also fishing.

An amazing trip, Captain Mario is the best!!
We did 6am-12pm, weather calm, 75-80 F, we were on Celebrity Solstice cruise in Cabo for 1.5 days.
Buy live bait, you’ll need it if you see marlin.
My wife lost huge bull dorado at first light, but later boated one almost as big.
We saw one marlin jumping, we ran over and Captain Mario quickly hooked it up with live mackerel while other charters looked on with envy!
Mahi Mahi charters were great and very good with communicating and making it easy for pick up when coming from cruise ship.
We also saw pair of humpback whales breaching many times. Skip whale watching and go fishing you’ll get the whale watching as a bonus.
I could only rate max 5 stars but I would give them 10 stars if I could!
The boat also had small toilet which my wife greatly appreciated!
Captain Mario and Mahi Mahi charters are the best and a great value compared to other options!

Mario took phenomenal care of us on our trip. Right off the bat, he was helpful with guiding us through the fishing license, bait and food/drink options and where to get them right there on the dock. He was an amazing captain throughout the charter and showed us a great time, cracking jokes, and helping us have the best experience possible while making sure we all went home with plenty of fish! Everyone on our boat was able to land at least one fish with plenty more opportunities to max out our limit and when we got back, he showed us one of the local restraints right by Mahi Fishing Charter’s pier where we could go to have them prepare the food for us and send us home with the extra filets. We would absolutely love to book with him again next time we’re in town!

Victor was excellent. He couldn’t have been better! We caught some wonderful Spanish Mackerel and he walked us down the pier to a catch and clean restaurant, “La Chatita”. We had the fish prepared in four different cooking methods and they were all wonderful! Victor went they extra mile, communicating with colleagues to find where the fish were and took us there! We went the extra mile and had a lot of action in midday! He’s an excellent photographer too! 100% satisfied customers with Victor G.M… great captain of a great boat!

I was looking for a trip that would give me a chance to catch Mahi Mahi and maybe some larger sail fish. My expectations were met early. Within 30 minutes we had one Mahi in the boat and a second about an hour later. Unfortunately that was the extent of the catch, but captain Jorge took us out to areas to try to get a Marlin on. No such luck, but I did come back with a couple of decent Mahi Mahi.

At the dock there were some crew that cleaned and packed them in ziplock bags for taking home. I had to find a cooler and pack them myself, but that wasn’t much of a problem.

The boat was a little smaller than I expected, but the water was daily calm so there was no issue with extreme waves.

I would take this boat again in the future.
