Captain Stuart Simpson has spent more than 10 years chasing Billfish all around the world. After getting his captain’s license in his early 20s, he ran charters out of east Africa, before moving west and now onto Cape Verde. With a string of titles to his name, he’s just the guy to get you reeling in the fish of a lifetime.
Head offshore aboard his 33’ Bertram saltwater fishing boat. There’s room for up to 5 guests, with space for 3 to fish at the same time. She comes fitted with plenty of comfortable seating, a kitchen, toilet, and everything you need for an enjoyable day. Capt. Stuart will provide drinks and snacks, along with a light lunch, so you’ll stay refreshed.
Propelled by a 315 HP Yanmar 6LPA-STP engine, you’ll sail away comfortably to the most productive fishing grounds. Using the outriggers, you’ll troll to entice the bite of your target species, before settling into the fighting chair as you take it in turns to do battle with the sea’s great predators.
Majestic and monstrous, the Marlin will leave you breathless. Get ready for some heavy lifting as you do your utmost to guide them to the boat. Capt. Stuart is passionate about tagging and releasing them, so you’ll practice the most ethical form of fishing on these precious creatures.
Fighting it out with a Tuna or Mahi Mahi will be no mean feat, either. These delicious fish are also known for their fighting skills, so you’ll need to bring your A-game to head back to shore with a tasty treat.
The crew will clean your catch at the end of the trip, and can even fillet it at your request. Head back to a beachside restaurant and watch the sun go down over your own handiwork. Get ready for a thrilling, productive, and memorable experience with NHA Cretcheu.
