Whisk yourself away to the open ocean. Carillo Team will make your trip to paradise come true. Sail out from Puerto Vallarta’s hustle and bustle, and be at one with nature. You’ll get to snorkel and discover a whole new world, while the fishing on offer is simply incredible.
Each trip has a local flavor. Captain Chema Carillo, Captain Kiko, and their first mates are locals and have an excellent command of English. While showing you nature’s wonders, they’ll answer any question you have, and you’ll learn some new fishing techniques from experienced hands.
One of the biggest boats in Puerto Vallarta, the 28’ NAVA center console will see you relax in style. Restored in 2016, she’s fitted with all modern amenities, including a working toilet. With unrestricted views, you’ll sample the surroundings with plenty of covered and uncovered seating space to choose from.
Take advantage of the snorkeling gear aboard to hop in and explore the magical underworld cities that exist on the reefs. Full of dazzling fish, you’ll be amazed at how small, big, and diverse fish co-exist in the same stunning space.
When fishing, you’ll have the option of hitting the reefs or heading offshore. Nearshore, you’ll go after a range of colourful and exciting fish, such as Snappers, Jack Crevalles, as well as striking Sailfish and delicious Mahi Mahi.
Further offshore, the fish get bigger and bigger. Monumental Marlin and Yellowfin Tuna will be your prime target, along with huge Sailfish and Mahi. Expect to work up a sweat while reeling in these monsters. You can try trolling, bottom fishing, popping, and even kite fishing – the captain is an expert!
Stay refreshed and bring whatever you feel you’d like to consume while on board and keep it in the captain’s cooler. Otherwise, it’s just a swimsuit, towel, and some sunscreen, and you’re all set. All else is taken care of. If you’re in Puerto Vallerta, make the most of your holiday and explore the Pacific. Let Carillo Team take you away.
