Reel Therapy – Shark River Inlet
Explore New Jersey’s array of saltwater fishing with Reel Therapy. Work your way out of Neptune City along the Shark River and out into the Atlantic as you fish the shallow and deep waters in search of some phenomenal fighting fish.
You’ll have all you need to reel in as many of these monsters as possible, as Captain Paul Eidman keeps plenty of top-of-the-range equipment. A specialist in fly and light tackle fishing, he’s been fishing for over 45 years. Nobody knows more about these waters than him, so rest assured you’ll get right on the sweet spots to start reeling in plenty.
With such a range of waters to discover, you’ll need a versatile vessel to satisfy your needs. Thankfully, the 30’ Jones Brothers center console is just that. She’s light enough to take you to waters as shallow as 3 feet, while she’s also spacious and sturdy enough to keep you comfortable on the deeper waters. Powered by a 150 HP Yamaha engine, you’re in for a smooth ride all day long.
Trips take place over 6 hours, depending on your target species. When inshore, you can go after exciting Striped Bass, Fluke, and Bluefish, among others. While heading a bit further out, especially during the summer, will see you battle it out with the fanatical, tough-fighting False Albacore and Bonito. Get ready for an intense struggle, wherever you go.
If spearfishing is more your thing, then bring your equipment on board and Capt. Paul will take you to the clear waters where you can get in. There’s really nothing he can’t do for you! You’ll even be provided with snacks and drinks on board to stay refreshed. Anglers of all abilities are welcome, and the captain is trained to help people with disabilities, too. There’s something for everyone at Reel Therapy.
