2ndchancecharters takes you fishing nearshore and offshore. Red Snapper, Cobia, King Mackerel, Redfish, Spanish Mackerel. Further off the coast, and just within the reach of the coastline, you’ll join Captain Paul. He’ll take you angling for the finest mashup of fish the Gulf has to offer.
The Captain’s been fishing for over 20 years. The path he first followed took him all the way to graduation at the university. Still, the thirst for wide open space atop water was stronger, so he decided to follow his passion, and give it another chance. Ever since, he’s been enjoying taking fishers and friends, families and pros out for some fine angling.
You’ll join him onboard his 41ft Bertram boat. It can take up to 6 people, and give them speeds of up to 32 knots. Once you reach your destination, you’ll try out spinning, jigging, trolling, using light or heavy tackle - all depending on what fish you want to reel in.
Captain Paul will tell you about the tricks and hacks, so you can have the best of times during your trip. He wants to give you enjoyable time out, whether novice or pro - so, do feel invited.
Live bait, rods, reels and tackle, and lures are all provided on the boat. The fishing licence and safety equipment are taken care of, so just bring some snacks, beverages, and shades, sunscreen lotion, and sunglasses. Alcohol is allowed, but only in cans. For everyone to have a pleasant trip, it’s cool to to be sensitive to others as well.
This is where Alabama meets the Gulf. If you want a taste of how fish bite here, hold your rod tight and join Captain Paul. With his guidance, you’re in for a blast on these waters! Grab a camera, and come along!
