Narragansett Bay Sportfishing

Narragansett Bay Sportfishing runs amazing fishing trips all over the gorgeous coast of Massachusetts. Whether you choose to fish near Block Island, Cape Cod Bay, Great South Channel, or Buzzards Bay – you will surely have a great time on the water. Captain Spencer Bode is very knowledgeable about the local history and he can tell you a lot about the former whaling capital of the world.

You’ll be fishing aboard their 32’ Mirage boat, which is powered by twin 300 HP Yamaha engines. She’s equipped with state of the art electronics and fully stocked with Shimano tackle for every species and fishery. The vessel also includes an icebox and a livewell to keep the bait fresh.

All trips, species targeted, and fishing locations can be tailored to your needs and experience. As the crew fish out of North Kingstown and New Bedford for most of the season, they are near the best fishing grounds the Atlantic Ocean has to offer.

You can head to Cape Cod for Giant Bluefin Tuna and Groundfish, or south of Martha’s Vineyard for Mako Sharks, Mahi Mahi, and Yellowfin Tuna. Tasty fish such as Striped Bass, Scup, and Sea Bass are also on the catch list. Just let Captain Spencer know what you would like to target. Kids of all ages are also welcome and the captain has life jackets ready for them.

Narragansett Bay Sportfishing is dedicated to providing amazing offshore and big game fishing trips. They have a strong reputation for hard work and great customer service, as they do their best to make everybody enjoy their time on the boat. You only need to bring your camera, Capt. Captain Spencer has been fishing the waters of Southern New England since birth, as his father owned and operated a 90' commercial fishing trawler. He earned his fishing education the best way possible: by working for the best and most experienced fishing captains & mariners on the East Coast. During the winter months, he is a mate aboard a large commercial fishing vessel in Point Judith & New Bedford. He's a fourth-generation fisherman and a second-generation captain, happy to provide his customers with a lifetime of experience spent at sea, to ensure that every trip with him is a fun and memorable adventure! He also holds a 100 Ton license.
