If Salmon fishing on Campbell River is on your bucket list, then Captain Scott Kratzmann of Riptide Fishing might be the person to turn to! With over 3 decades of ample fishing experience and more than 20 years of running fishing trips, Capt. Scott knows where the fish hide and he’s happy to share.
Campbell River is heaven for both angling and outdoor enthusiasts and offers spectacular views with equally good fishing opportunities. All 5 species of the Pacific Salmon migrate through this area, so you’ve got solid chances of catching your next trophy. Chasing Halibut and Lingcod is also very popular here, as long as the fishing season is open – from February to October.
Your fishing platform for the trip will be a 25’ cuddy cabin with twin 115 HP Yamaha engines and more than enough room to accommodate up to 4 anglers. The vessel has a private toilet for your full comfort, as well as a cabin where you can rest in between bites. The boat is clean, spacious, and efficient in getting you to the most productive fishing grounds of the day.
You will find quality Islander reels and Trophy XL rods on board, so you don’t have to bring your own. In case you’re a fly fisherman, then it’s necessary to pack your own fishing gear. After the trip, you will get your catch cleaned and filleted so that you can savor it as soon as you come home.
Capt. Scott loves having anglers of all ages and proficiencies on his trips, and he’ll go the extra mile to make the experience exciting and memorable.
Buy a fishing license before you head out, stock up on snacks and drinks, and Riptide Fishing will take care of everything else!
