If you're looking for some of the best bay fishing that Ocean City, Maryland has to offer, look no further than Just A Toy Guide Service. They encourage both experts, beginners, and kids to come and catch fish with them.
For Captain Robert Anderson, fishing has been a passion all his life. He was hooked the first time his mother took him to a little creek for Catfish. His first job was as a mate on a head boat, fishing for Seabass and Cod. Over the years, he has acquired a great knowledge of the waters in the area. Even as times change, he keeps up with them, updating his techniques and tackle. He promotes catch and release so that the future young anglers can enjoy the sport he loves.
His boat is a 30' Century center console that can carry up to 4 anglers fishing simultaneously. Fully restored in 2018, it boasts twin 250 HP Mercury Verado engines, ice-boxes, and top-notch safety/navigational gear.
There are many different species and techniques to catch them, such as jigging, drifting, casting, and trolling. You'll be targeting Striped Bass, Spotted Seatrout, Flounder, Sheepshead, and more. The captain also specializes in night fishing for Stripers.
He runs his trips are year-round, so you can expect different species depending on the season. Spring will bring Tautog, Flounder, Bluefish and some Stripers. Fall fishing is excellent as well, with Flounder still hanging around Seabass and Tautog. When migrating Striper show up just off the beach, the captain will break out the planer boards and trolling gear to pick up some trophy size fish.
Just A Toy Guide Service uses only the best Penn gear so you can have the highest chances of landing that fish of your dreams. They provide soft drinks and water with some snacks, but you are welcome to bring your own.

caught lots of tautog. we were targeting sheeps but didnt find any. hooked something big, captain assumed it was a rwd drum, fought it for nearly 20 minutes and it broke off when it was almost to the boat. captain and mate were both friendly, knowledgeable and kept us fishing the whole trip

I had an amazing time on this fishing trip! The experience was relaxing, well-organized, and a lot of fun from start to finish. The crew was knowledgeable and friendly, making sure everyone felt comfortable. we were taken to excellent fishing spots. In which made the whole experience even better. We caught a good number of fish,I’d definitely recommend this trip to anyone looking for a fun and stress-free fishing experience.

First time and first day fishing in Ocean City...fished for 4 hours in the rain. Other than that...Capt and crew were great. Caught several tautogs, a few rockfish, a sheepshead and a skate. also tried for flounder..wasnt our day. Appreciated the capt working to catch as many species as possible per my request in a challenge to catch 50 species in 50 weeks. added 4 today and now at 35 with 3 more days in OC.

I thought it would be hard to top my last tautog trip with these guys, and I’m so happy to be wrong. We went to a different spot this time, and things were really slow for about an hour, but then we found the right spot and didnt look back! I think the smallest tog I caught would have been my biggest coming into today, and my biggest blew those away. A fun and knowledgeable crew, and an amazing afternoon of fishing!
thank you Robin it was definitely our pleasure having you back for a great day on the water with some nice Tog fishing. Thank you Captain Robert
We did a 4 hour trip that took us to the jetty, off some piers, the bridge and Assateague Island. The Captain and mate were awesome. No keepers but plenty of fish. So much better than our last charter. There were 5 of us in total; two teens my wife and 12 year old daughter. It was awesome.
