Capitan Robert was very accommodating and arranged to pick us up at a dock near where we were staying. Beautiful boat, plenty of bait and very friendly. Was a little tough getting started…like it often is. Literally watched fish spitting out the bait. Changed up the plan and went to several locations until we were able to find some fish that were biting. Had a great time fishing and being on the water after that. Kept a couple for dinner that night. Definitely planning to book him again next year. Maybe have a guys vs girls competition next time.

We had a great time on out trip.  My husband, myself and our 14 year ols and 9 year old went.  It was pretty cold the day we went so the fish were slow to bite but my son caught a shark on own of the first casts of the day!  We also caught a trout, lizard fish, lady fish and a mackerel.
Captain Bobby did a great job moving around to different areas trying to get us the best opportunities to catch fish. On the way back to the dock we picked up a few dolphins that rode the wake right behind the boat.  Seeing them up close like that was awesome.  I would definitely book this charter again and highly recommend it!

Booked our first trip in Florida and couldn’t have picked a better day or captain. We started catching fish as soon as we threw our lines out and kept it up for almost the entire time. When they slowed down on the bite we moved to another location and caught a couple of sharks before our time was up. Very much recommend booking with Gulfcoast Fishing Charters. He was awesome with the girls and showed them what they needed to do to catch fish. The 9 year old said “best day ever”!

From start to finish,  my 4 young kids and I had a great time! Bobby knew all the best spots to take us and was endlessly patient with my kids. He was a wealth of knowledge about ocean life and an expert fisherman. He made it fun for all of us and personalized it to our needs and wants. Thank you, Captain Bobby.

I took my 10 year old son to St. Pete for a mother/son fishing trip. We went out with Captain Rob and did both off-shore and in-shore fishing. We had an amazing time!! The boat was vey clean, very nice and comfortable. Captain Rob was so friendly and incredibly helpful. He was very attentive, made sure that we also had fresh bait on the hook, and went out of his way to make sure we had a great time! If the fish weren’t biting in one spot, he knew just where to go to find more action. We had an amazing day fishing and catching our dinner! Bonus - Captain Rob knew just where to go to see some dolphin, too. He found a pod of dolphin that followed the boat and put on quite a show. Such a fun experience! Captain Rob is not only great to go fishing with, but he is also the perfect person to show you around the water in St. Pete. He knew the area, the waterways, and the marine life so well. It was a fantastic day fishing and an awesome tour of the area too!!
