Bobby Kimoto Charters
What better way to discover the famous waters around Vancouver Island than with a local guide? Captain Bobby Kimoto can’t wait to show you his native waters. His family has been fishing the Pacific Northwest since the 1900s, so fishing is in his blood. Nobody knows these waters better than him, so come aboard and make all your fishing dreams come true.
Step aboard his 25’ Pursuit cuddy cabin boat and let the magic begin. There’s plenty of space for up to 5 people and all of you will get to fish at the same time when bottom fishing. There’s plenty of convenient space to sit as you head out to the sweet spots, and you’ll even have use of a full head toilet, for your convenience.
The boat features Scotty downriggers, so you’ll spread the lines when trolling, while you’ll use Islander rods and reels when battling it out as you bottom fish. You’ll utilize a range of artificial lures and may even have some live bait to play with. Get in touch with the captain if you know that you want to use live bait, and he’ll prepare it before you head off.
The Pacific nearshore and offshore waters here are overflowing with some of the world’s best-tasting, most sought-after fish.
Get ready for some heavy lifting as you target some record-sized Halibut in the deep waters, and get ready to use all your skills to keep Salmon on the end of the line. Rockfish and Lingcod may prove to be a little less of a challenge, but they’ll leave an equally delicious taste on your pallet at the end of the day.
Capt. Bobby is passionate about introducing the next generation to fishing – he even claims to have raised his own kids on the water! Bring the whole family on board for a thrilling day out and get everyone hooked on fishing. Just buy your fishing license online, bring some appropriate clothing, and get ready for a trip like never before. Bobby Kimoto Charters is waiting to take you away.
