The 25' Dorado bay boat is the perfect vessel to navigate the gulf coast waters. Equipped with the newest fishfinder, GPS, and VHF radio, you'll find the sweet spots without any trouble. Powered by a 300 HP Mercury engine, the boat will rip across the open waters, before the wireless trolling motor kicks in along the skinny waters. You'll creep up quietly on your target, catching them off-guard, before hooking 'em aboard.
Whatever you target, you're in for a thrilling day. Typically, you'll have the pick of tough-fighting Snook, Redfish, Spotted Seatrout, and many other prized fish. Using live bait on the end of light tackle, get ready for a struggle throughout, with great rewards! Keep in mind inshore trips are mostly catch and release.
Also offered for the angler looking to bring in some fresh fish, the nearshore fishing is the best option. Targeting mangrove snapper, hogfish, grey sanpper, lane snapper, grouper, mackerel, and much more, they are both a good fight and great table fare. During the nearshore trip you will be fishing within 9 miles of shore in the FL state waters in water as deep as 50 feet.
Bottled waters and a cooler filled with ice will be provided during the trip, but Capt. My husband and I had a great time with Captain Evan! He got us on some great fish, took us to plenty of spots, and was always on top of making sure our hooks were always baited. At the end of the trip he cleaned our catches for us as well and put it in a freezer bag for us to take back. He was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. We will definitely book again the next time we are in the area!
We all caught Red fish and Spotted Sea Trout. What a great day. The first stop we didn’t do any catching. Only fishing but was still a good time. We didn’t stay long and captain Evan’s moved us. Within 10 minutes one of us hit a Spotted Sea Trout then another and another. We hit on Red fish And Sea Trout for a couple hours. I had to take a break. We had a great time and we couldn’t stop laughing at the puns and jokes. It was a lot of fun. I would recommend Captain Evan’s to everyone. I certainly am coming back.

This was a three generation group - me my son-in-law and my 15yo grandson. Captain Evan was very attentive and kept supplying fresh live bait on our lines. We all caught some fish but the highlight was the shark. We were doing catch and release so was glad Captain dealt with removal of the hook for that guy. We had a great experience and recommend you check him out.
Capt. Evan was very accommodating when we ran into some issues before the trip and he worked with us. Once we got on the water it started a little slow but he was quick to move spots and find the fish. He put us on a lot of slots and overslot trout. My son was catching them left and right. Worked really well with my son and was a cool guy. Would definitely recommend for beginners or experienced fishers.

Had a great time fishing with Captain Evan! Super easygoing guy and really knows where the fish are. He got us on fish quick and kept things fun the whole trip. The boat was clean, everything was ready to go, and he made the whole day relaxed and enjoyable. Plenty of action, lots of laughs, and a really good day on the water. Definitely recommend Captain Evan — we’ll be booking again for sure!
