Southern Renegade Charters strives to put you on the fish and to make sure all of their guests have a great time. Captain Shane Johnson welcomes everyone, from the beginners to the most experienced anglers. However, the captain’s favorite anglers are between 5 and 12 years old. He loves watching kids hook their first fish and seeing both theirs and their parents’ faces glowing with amazement.
Feel the breeze blowing as you set off on a 22’ Sportsman 227 Masters boat. This brand new boat was built in 2018 and accommodates up to 4 guests. Comfortable and stable, the boat features bow seating for sightseeing and relaxing, plus a comfy center console area with rear seating. There’s also lots of storage for gear, food & drinks. She’s equipped with the latest technology, including the latest fish-finding electrons and an i-Pilot trolling system.
Your trip will take place in the inshore waters of the bay. You will mostly target Redfish, Snapper, Sheepshead, Jack Crevalle, Speckled Trout, Ladyfish, Bluefish, Whiting, and many more. You can keep your catch and the captain will clean it for you after the trip. In case you choose to release the fish, Capt. Shane will use circle hooks which makes it easier to let the fish go.
On some occasions, Capt. Shane will allow the 5th person on the boat but only if they’re under 15 years old since it would be too crowded for 5 adults to fish on this vessel. The extra cost for the 5th person is $50, but you need to arrange this with the captain before the trip.
The captain will prepare your fishing equipment, live bait, and fresh water, while you can bring other drinks and snacks. Sunscreen, sunglasses, and hats are also recommended.
If you want an action-packed adventure with fully customizable trips, book with Southern Renegade Charters and let them make your vacation memorable!
