Captain Calvin Parker is a 3rd generation fishing guide out of Campbell River. Growing up on these waters, he learned everything possible from the best around. He’s been running trips since he was 14, opening Denali in 2015. He can’t wait to share his knowledge with you, and hopefully help you to get as impassioned as he is about his local waters.

Head off to explore these productive waters aboard a 25’ Pursuit 2460 Denali walkaround boat. A compact vessel, she has enough space for up to 4 guests and even comes fitted with a full head for your convenience. She’s a vessel designed specifically for fishing and features downriggers and downriggers and a live bait well to keep your bait fresh.

You’ll catch your bait as you head out to the fishing grounds, while dead bait and artificial lures will await you on board. Try trolling the open waters and bottom fishing when you hit the reefs to catch the bite of some stunning Salmon and maybe even some huge Halibut. Famed for its Salmon, however, you’ll have the chance to go after Coho, Chinook, Chum, Pink, and Sockeye. Head home with a boatful of these beauties and feed the whole family!

The captain will clean and prepare your catch at the end of the day, so all you’ll need to do is cook it up when you get home. A 3rd-generation fisherman, Capt. Calvin has been on the water since he can remember. He began guiding at the age of 14 at the famous Dolphin's Resorts, and still works there as a contract guide today. He's run Denali Charters since 2015 and sees it as an exciting new venture that allows him to meet new people and reel in fish regularly. He hopes to show you the world-class fishing on offer in the Campbell River, giving a true local outlook on the West Coast.
