Don’t waste a second of your holiday. Get out on the water and discover the magical world underwater with Sport Fishing The Iguana. Head out from La Paz and explore the rich waters of the Sea of Cortez and its range of exotic and delicious fish.
Captain Lorenzo Geraldo has fished these waters for over 20 years and still loves everything about the sea and its marine life. He specializes in catching delicious Mahi Mahi and Tuna, not only for the taste but because of the thrilling fight they put up. Let him show you the sweet spots as you try to haul in some stunning fish.
Up to 3 guests are welcome aboard his 24’ Fiberglass center console to experience the thrilling fishing Mexico has to offer. Fitted with a couple of fighting chairs, along with a live bait well, she’s a boat that means business. Using a range of artificial lures at the end of top-of-the-range tackle, you’ll have the edge over the fish as you trick them onto the end of your line.
Troll the deeper waters, while you’ll also get to bottom fish the productive, tropical reefs in search of your target fish. If fly fishing is more your thing, feel free to bring your own equipment, or let the captain know to bring his. Get ready to test your strength against some monster fish, that won’t fail to leave you amazed.
Along the reefs, you’ll try your hand at a range of different fish, from Snappers and Groupers to Jacks, Roosterfish, and Wahoo. While offshore, you’ll get to marvel in awe at the size of Marlin, gaze in wonder at the beauty of a Sailfish, and shy away from the shine of a dazzling Mahi Mahi or Tuna.
At the end of your trip, Capt. Lorenzo or his first mate will clean and prepare your catch so that you can head to a beachside restaurant and watch the sunset while enjoying the fruits of your labor. There’s no better taste in the world than that of your own hard work. Come and explore these stunning waters with Sport Fishing The Iguana. Your holiday won’t be complete without it!
